Deirdre H. Robbins is a sole practitioner in Salem, Massachusetts, concentrating in environmental law, personal injury, and civil appeals. A member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1979, Ms. Robbins was formerly a law clerk to Justice Francis J. Quirico of the Massachusetts Supreme Court; an associate at Parker, Coulter, Daley and White (where she concentrated in civil appeals and plaintiffs' personal injury and product liability cases); and an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Protection Division, where she prosecuted major environmental civil cases in areas such as air pollution and hazardous waste. Representative cases included obtaining a $250,000 fine in an air pollution case and an $11 million settlement for the Commonwealth in a landfill case. Ms. Robbins opened her own office in 1995 in Salem. She represents property owners with environmental or other land use issues, people and companies responding to governmental enforcement action; individuals and citizen groups seeking recourse against polluters; and plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, consumer, product liability, toxic tort, and medical and legal malpractice litigation. |
